James M. Bishop James M. Bishop appears from Census records of 1860 to have been a brother to Amos Bishop. That Census shows James living in the household of which Amos Bishop, age 25, is listed as head of household. Also in that household: Olif Bishop, age 24, presumably Amos's wife, and three children–William E., age 5, Edward, age 3, and Elisabeth, 7 months. James M. Bishop is listed at age 18. The household used the post office at Holly Creek.
