FORDS AND CROSSINGS MURRAY COUNTY, GEORGIA Before the first bridges were built, early inhabitants of Murray County had to cross streams where the water was relatively shallow. Some of these crossings were named but many were not. Hopefully this list, which was created by computer searching the text of Murray County Heritage, eventually will contain brief information about most of the major named crossings.
