CHEROKEE SILER AND CHAPMAN ROLLS, MURRAY COUNTY, 1851-1952Payments to Cherokees Under the New Echota Treaty of 1835 The Bureau of Indian Affairs, in 1851, instructed David Siler to create a roll that would be used as the basis for distributing money due to them under the treaty of 1835. The Siler Roll is arranged by county and state and only the portion for Murray County is being displayed here.
